MLS members can use third-party applications in conjunction with CTI Navigator's IDX feature to display property listings from the MLS in social media such as Facebook. Some of the social media apps display only your listings and others can provide full MLS search. In general you must first create a Facebook account and setup a Facebook Business Page in Facebook (see Setting up a free Facebook Business Page). Following is a brief description of popular social media apps for real estate professionals.
Top Producer offers several commercial products (such as Top Producer CRM and Market Snapshot) that can integrate with your Facebook or Twitter account directly from Top Producer 8.1. These social media compliant products are primarily for marketing your personal listings, and capturing leads from inquires. For further information on Top Producer's social media enabled products, go to http://www.topproducer.com/campus/top-producer/social-media/ .
HomeASAP offers a family of integrated services "built exclusively for the Facebook real estate community." This includes a free "Real Estate Agent Directory" and a subscription-based "IDX Home Search" Facebook app.
The HomeASAP Real Estate Directory helps consumers easily find agents on Facebook by location and expertise. HomeASAP's "IDX Home Search" Facebook app adds a "Find a Home" tab to your Facebook Business page so that visitors can directly search the entire MLS inventory of active listings and view property details, photos, virtual tours and maps (click here for MLS availability, details and pricing). IDS Home Search includes built-in lead capture and real time activity notifications.
Website ReSizer by TabSite is a subscription-based social engagement app that allows you to embed any secure website or web page in your Facebook Business Page as a tab and easily resize it to fit and function properly within Facebook. For more information see "Website ReSizer App" and/or video at https://www.tabsite.com/help/getting-started .
