Install Program, Data or Taxes into 64-bit Windows

Most personal computers run a 32-bit version of Windows (XP or Vista). However, a 64-bit computer processor can run either a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of Windows. You can determine which version of Windows is running on your computer by going to Start > Control Panel > System > in the System section under the "System Type", look for either 32-bit or 64-bit Operating System.

Data downloaded from this web page will install in the Program Files (x86) folder only used by 64-bit Windows. Therefore, use this page to download MLS information only into a 64-bit Windows. To download MLS information into a 32-bit version of Windows, click this link (or select Download CTI Navigator into 32-bit Windows in the related articles below).

Select the Program, Data, or Taxes (where available) to download the files appropriate for your MLS.  "Listing Data" downloads do NOT include photos (or taxes where available). To download taxes (where available), select the tax link appropriate for your MLS. Because of their large size, it is highly recommended that the initial set of photo (and tax) files be installed off a recent CTI Navigator CD/DVD from your local MLS rather than being downloaded from the Internet.

If you download data (and/or taxes where available) into a computer that did not previously have MLS data installed in it, you must manually enter in CTI Navigator's setup the path to where the data (and taxes) is located in your computer (see Set Path to Local Data in Install CTI Navigator in the related articles below for path setup instructions). After downloading replacement data from this web site, run the CTI Update Manager (Start > all Programs > CTI Navigator > Update Manager > Update button). Warning: the first update after downloading data from the Internet can take an unusually long time because the update manager will automatically download any missing photos (this means all photos if you have not previously installed photos). Compact the data (at the prompt or under Tools > Compact Listing Data) the next time you log into CTI Navigator.

Program files may need to update when first used. Once installed, the program will automatically update itself to the current version when you either log into CTI Navigator or run the CTI Update Manager. You may need to configure your Internet Security program to allow CTI's Update Manager to access the Internet (for instructions, click CTI Help & Support Menu in the related articles below).

After clicking the appropriate link to download a file, in Windows Vista select "Save" and save the file to the Desktop. To install a file downloaded from the Internet into Windows Vista: right-click on the file that was saved to your desktop > in the popup menu, click "Run as Administrator" > on the User Account Control screen (if enabled), click Allow. The first time you run CTI Navigator in Windows Vista, right-click on the CTI Navigator icon on the desktop > select Propertiesif you have a Compatibility tab, click it, and under Administrative Privileges check "Run this program as an Administrator" > click OK.

To download a file in all versions of Windows other than Vista, select Run or select "Save" (as instructed). If prompted that "Publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?" click Run.

At any unZip screen, click Unzip (do not click Run WinZip). Do not change the "Unzip to folder" location (unless you have installed CTI Navigator on a drive different from the default). All  files on this page will automatically unzip to the proper folder for CTI Navigator on the "C" drive in a 64-bit Windows. After unzipping completes successfully, start CTI Navigator and click on UPDATE to get the most recent data.
