An unrecognized database format error when updating or using CTI Navigator Desktop indicates that the MLS data (Mls.mdb file) on this computer is corrupted. To fix this problem, reinstall the listing data (and taxes if available for your MLS). The easiest way to re-install MLS data is download a new data file over the Internet using the MLS Data loader as described here.
Otherwise, if you have current installation CDs for CTI Navigator Desktop: insert disk 1 > select Install Listing Data only > un-check Photos (and Taxes, if listed, but leave Listing data checked) > click install.
Update after reinstalling MLS data.
If the error persists, also re-install taxes where available.
For additional details on fixing update problems, go to Fix Update Problems on CTI's Instructions to Fix Errors or Problems website.
Note: Where instructions refer to {YourMLScode}, substitute CTI's 3-letter code for your local MLS. This code can be determined by opening the CTI Navigator login screen > click the Setup button > the MLS code is the first 3 letters in the Internet Server Address box.
