Problems sending files over the Internet typically are caused by Internet Security or Internet connection issues. Uploading image files larger than 1 MB is not normally necessary, and can greatly slow down (and sometimes complicate) the process of adding (or replacing) photos to listings. If you do send very high resolution photos, do not upload 24 simultaneously - send about 12 or less to be processed at the same time.
If you have never before sent photos to the MLS from this computer and are running a version of Windows prior to Vista, go to www.ctimls.com/U/HF.exe > run this file > re-start Windows. If you are using Windows Vista (or if HF.exe does not fix the problem), press the Windows logo key + R key > type DCOMCNFG and follow the instructions in the related article, "Remote Server does not exist or is unavailable" to enable DCOM Tunneling.
If Send Photo causes a "file not found" error, follow the instructions in the related article, "Fix Photo Lead error".
If Send Photos never completes and never displays an error, or displays an "Unable to connect to remote host" error, either your Internet Provider or Internet Security program (typically a firewall) are blocking the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) normally used to send photos. To get around this blocking, or if the preceding steps do not fix the problem, go to the CTI Navigator Login screen > click Setup button > Options tab > check "Disable FTP when sending photos".
If the problem persists, try temporarily disabling all components of your Internet Security program while sending photos. If this works, configure your security program to always allow CTI Navigator to access the Internet (refer to the Help or technical support for your particular security program or see the appropriate related article below).
