Configure Kaspersky Anti-Virus or Internet Security

The security system used by Kaspersky is based on a table of rules for controlling events associated with applications (such as CTI Navigator). To create a rule specifying CTI Navigator as a "Trusted Application" in Kaspersky Internet Security or Anti-Virus 2009:

  1. Open the main windows for Kaspersky 
  2. Click the Settings button (in the top right corner of the main screen) 
  3. Click on "Threats and exclusions" (in the left pane of the Settings screen)

  4. Click the "Trusted zone" button under Exclusions (in the right pane of the Settings screen)
  5. Select the "Trusted applications" tab 
  6. Click the Add link
  7. Select CTI Navigator.exe in the excludable list, or browse to C:\Program Files\CTI Navigator\CTI Navigator.exe
  8. Check "Do not restrict (or monitor) application activity"
  9. Click the OK button to close each window.
