Configure Kaspersky Anti-Virus or Internet Security

The security system used by Kaspersky is based on a table of rules for controlling events associated with applications (such as CTI Navigator). To create a rule specifying CTI Navigator as a "Trusted Application" in Kaspersky Internet Security or Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 or 2010:

  2. Click the Settings button (in the top right corner of the main screen) - 2009 is on left and 2010 is on right below
Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 Main Screen
  3. Click on "Threats and exclusions" (in the left pane of the Settings screen)
    Kaspersky Threats and Exclusions Option
  4. Under Exclusions (in the right pane of the Settings screen), click the "Trusted zone" button in 2009 or Settings button in 2010
  5. Select the "Trusted applications" tab

  6. Click the + Add link (in the lower left corner of the screen)
  7. Select Browse to browse to C:\Program Files\CTI Navigator\CTI Navigator.exe [or "C:\Program Files (x86)\CTI Navigator\CTI Navigator.exe" in a 64-bit version of Windows]; or ...
Select Applications to display a list in which you select CTI Navigator.exe
  8. Check "Do not monitor (or restrict) application activity"
