Fix Unrecognized Database Format

An unrecognized database format error indicates that the MLS data (Mls.mdb file) on this computer is corrupted. To fix this problem, reinstall the listing data as described below. (For installation details, see the related article below entitled "Install CTI Navigator".)

If you have current installation CDs: insert disk 1 > select Install Listing Data only > un-check Photos (and Taxes, if listed, but leave Listing data checked) > click install. If you do not have recently made installation CDs, you can download and unzip just the data for your MLS from http://ctimls.com/Downloads/{YourMLScode}Data.exe (see note below). Do not change the "Unzip to" folder (unless CTI Navigator is not on your "C" drive).

If you are running Windows Vista, Save the {YourMLScode}Data.exe file to your desktop > minimize or close your Internet browser > right-click on the {YourMLScode}Data.exe file on your desktop > select Run as Administrator > Allow > unzip. Do not change the "Unzip to" folder.

Update after reinstalling data.

Note: Where instructions refer to {YourMLScode}, substitute CTI's 3-letter code for your local MLS. This code can be determined by opening the CTI Navigator login screen > click the Setup button > the MLS code is the first 3 letters in the Internet Server Address box.
