CMA Reports & Error Fixes

CMA Reports are described in the Tools section of CTI Navigator Help. Instructional movies on using the CMA reports functions in CTI Navigator are accessible from CTI's on-line Menu of Help and Tutorials (see related articles below).

Fix Invalid File or File Not Found in CMA

When a company logo, agent photo, or custom letter/report is added to the CMA function in CTI Navigator, the program will attempt to find the saved logo, photo or report file for use each time the CMA function is opened. If a "file not found" or "invalid file" error displays when opening the CMA function, look at the path in the error message and the file name at the end of the error message for the location and name of the file that cannot be found (or cannot be opened).

To delete or correct the path to a shared company logo that has been stored in the CMA function,  close CTI Navigator > right-click on Start > select Explore > Program Files > Cti Navigator > {YourMLScode} > Users > Default > double-click on User.ini > under [CMA] either delete the entire "CompanyLogo=..." line, or correct the path to where the logo is stored > close the user.ini file and save changes. (See note 4 for YourMLScode.)

To delete or correct the path to an agent photo stored in the CMA function, close CTI Navigator > right-click on Start > select Explore > Program Files > Cti Navigator > {YourMLScode} > Users > {Your Agent Name} > double-click on User.ini > under the  [CMA] section either delete the entire "AgentPhoto=..." line, or correct the path to where the photo is stored > close the user.ini file and save changes.

Note 1: there is no space in the path after the equal sign (=) and the beginning character of the path to the file.

Note 2: the path to files that are stored on a local area network (LAN) server (rather than stored inside a local PC) must start with double back slash marks (\\) .

To delete the path to an invalid photo stored in the CMA function, close CTI Navigator > right-click on Start > select Explore > Program Files > Cti Navigator > {YourMLScode} > Users > {Your Agent Name} > double-click on User.ini > under the  [CMA] section delete the entire "Photo File=..." line (where the information refers to an invalid path or an invalid photo) > close the user.ini file and save changes. Photo files cannot reside in temporary folders (such as when they are opened for viewing in email without having been saved separately from the email message).

To delete the path to a corrupted or missing custom report (such as a customized cover letter or agent resume) that has been stored in the CMA function, close CTI Navigator > right-click on Start > select Explore > Program Files > Cti Navigator > {YourMLScode} > Users > {Your Agent Name} > CMA > double-click on ReportIndex.txt > delete the entire line referencing the custom report (such as "Agent Resumé",...") > close the ReportIndex.txt file and save changes.

If the error occurs when selecting a CMA Report Theme, CMA Report Preview or if the path to the "file not found" is C:\Program Files\CTI Navigator\Graphics\CMA\ , download replacement CMA graphics files. Close CTI Navigator > go to www.ctimls.com/Downloads/Cma/CmaGraphics.exe > save CmaGraphics.exe to your computer and open/run it (right-click and "Run as Administrator" in Windows Vista).

Fix Error 457 or Error 13 in CMA

A corrupted Adjustment Library file can cause error message "This key is already associated with an element of this collection" or "Type Mismatch" when you click on Add/Edit Adjustments in a CMA. To fix this error: close CTI Navigator and delete the corrupted AdjLibrary.txt file at C:\Program Files\CTI Navigator\{YourMLScode}\Users\{Your Agent Name}\CMA\AdjLibrary.txt  (To get to this file, right-click on Start > select Explore > Program Files > Cti Navigator > {YourMLScode} > Users > {Your Agent Name} > CMA > AdjLibrary.txt).

Note 3: The C:\Program Files\CTI Navigator\{YourMLScode}\Users\{Your Agent Name}\CMA folder is also where saved CMA's (*.cma), custom CMA documents (*.rtf) and the CMA ReportsIndex.txt are stored. These are the files you would copy if you wanted to transfer custom CMA's from one computer and paste them into the same Users\{Your Agent Name}\CMA folder on another computer.

Note 4: Where instructions refer to {YourMLScode}, substitute CTI's 3-letter code for your local MLS (without the {} braces). This code can be determined by opening the CTI Navigator login screen > click the Setup button > the MLS code is the first 3 letters in the Internet Server Address box.

Where instructions refer to {Your Agent Name}, substitute your name (without the {} braces) exactly as listed in your local MLS. Your Agent Name is displayed in CTI Navigator under Roster > Agent/Office Info.
